They say they got him. They say Zero died in the battle, but they say they got him.

Maybe.

But no body being accounted for is going to leave me always wondering.

If you can produce a corpse, I'll believe it.

'Til then, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.

  1. They say he's done? Like dead and gone? I honestly doubt it...I'm not about to pack up and head back home only for this thing to rear it's ugly head right when I think everything's okay.

I've read too many of these blogs and seen too many people think they're safe to do that, so I won't be breaking my routines either.

  2. Really they say Slenderman is dead? That's funny because just this morning after finishing a good breakfast of eggs and about a pot of coffee I went outside and ran into our favorite embodiment of man's fears in an alley!

It's bullshit they thought they could kill Him with a bunch of knives and kids, now all we have is 1 dead, stupid kid that was too headstrong for his own good and what we always did.

  3. Heya. Uh.

It wasn't an attempt to kill Slendy, we all knew that wouldn't work. It was an attempt to weaken him, to make him killable, which is a different thing entirely.

The world's still not safe, Slender's still out there, but Zero was trying something new. It was a desperate last resort, but it was never a question of beating the Slenderman. It was an attempt to do something- anything- to end all this. Move us a little bit closer to the finish.

I've got a lot of respect for Zero. He knew what he was up against, he knew he wasn't going to get out of it alive, and he knew that an attack would do next to nothing, but he went up anyway. He was a good man.

Zeke, you've heard this before half a dozen times, but once more I've got to tell you-- you're awesome. Keep doing what you're doing. Thank you.

  4. Oh, fuck you, M. Read zero's blog before you call him stupid.

  5. So Zero's gone now? Shame, I rather liked him, a man among men, I hope we all die as he did, hoping to move us one step closer to the end.

  6. Hm, I'm a bit unfamiliar with Zero... I've been too preoccupied being harassed by Michi. But it a bit unnerving that tall, pale, and faceless (by the way, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who calls him that) can just show up and just... Ugh, I don't even want to think of it, it makes me shutter...

Keep strong, Zeke. I've got faith that most, if not all of us can at least make a dent in tall, pale and faceless's armor. Keep trying and just hope for the best, at this point.

  7. Given the unreliability of the Nightcrawler blog in the past, I wouldn't trust the events that supposedly "happened" in that blog. There's simply no way some pocketknife/switchblade is going to kill Our Mutual Friend. Not even close.

  8. But there may be a way of weakening Him with the mere effort of a try.
Nightcrawlers report is a good thing, no matter if it's true or not. Because even if we don't take it as a whole for being true, it might change something in the perception of SM and therefore in His powers and weaknesses.
Because of that, I agree that zero made a rather smart move, too. A dragon can not be slain by the hero before some other heros failed at it. A real one, that is. United power is necessary for victory, as are sacrifices. We might not like it, and we must not enforce it - but we should respect the decision of making such a sacrifice oneself.

Zero didn't just kill himself off, he died in the attempt to change something. And in a thoughtful way nevertheless.

Say, guys, why is there no forum for this community, preventing personal blogs from being spammed to no end with such discussions?

  9. I wouldn't necessarily agree with that. If Nightcrawler's report is true, then that means that the only way to kill Slenderman is to get Robert's knife (which is what Nightcrawler's report seems to portray). This, to me, seems ridiculous; maybe it's because the first time I've heard of the knife was through M's reference, and by the time I read that the White Elephants entries were gone, but a knife covered in SM's substance doesn't seem that effective to me; it's like a knife that is covered in human blood will instantly kill a human.

Also, the perception of the Slender Man doesn't change much in the Nightcrawler report. It's like a dragon, but there is no weak point to it (like, say, a missing scale over its heart). There may be a weakness, but the O.S.T. edited out the reaction to the blade, thus making any potential weakness unknown. Even then, it would boil down to a search for the blade; it would be like searching for a needle in a haystack. No, there must be some sort of hope for us, if we are to defeat The Slender Man.

Apart from that, I agree with everything else you said. A forum sounds like a great idea, but it may be vulnerable to Slender attacks (ie, being shut down / deleted because Slenderman or a proxie hacked into it).

  10. I'm sorry, I meant the P.T.C. For some reason I thought it was the O.S.T.
